BALLPARK FESTIVAL OF BEERS PHOTOS

TICKETS:

Advanced tickets are $25 per session at any area Kickin' Chicken or $30 at the RiverDogs Box Office, online at riverdogs.com or at rileyparkevents.com.  

The Ballpark Festival of Beers is a  21 and over event. All patrons must show a valid ID for entry.

DESIGNATED DRIVER TICKETS:

The DD wristband provides an alternative for non-tasters who wish to enjoy great entertainment, food trucks, corn hole and other fun interactive games.  Your non-taster $15 admission entitles you to a complimentary beverage (your choice of water or soda).  Please present your DD wristband at the beverage tent located between 2nd and 3rd base.  Be a HERO for the day! DD tickets are available for purchase at the stadium box office, August 23rd only. 

RESPONSIBLE DRINKING:

Please drink responsibly and line up post-event transporation. Green Taxi will be available to get you safely to your next destination and Co-Pilot Designated Drivers

will be on site to get your car home if needed.

BEER SAMPLING:

The first 2,500 people through the gates receive a commemorative sampling glass. Sampling tickets are included in the admission.  There will be water available to clean your glass between sampling.

 

  Hydrate – Make sure you drink plenty of water. The summer events can get very warm in the afternoon heat and with the cornucopia of alcoholic beverages that surround you, one often forgets to keep hydrated. HYDRATE:

Make sure you drink plenty of water before the festival.  As a summer event, it gets warm on the field so don't forget to keep hydrated. You will appreciate this the next morning.

FOOD:

Food trucks will provide a variety of delicacies.  The list of trucks include: Kickin' Chicken, HELLO my name is BBQ, Roti Rolls, The Creole Food Truck and         Cast Iron Food Truck. 

KING OF POPS:

Enjoy delicious BlackBerry Ginger Lemonade and Fresh Peach. The special Beer Pops for the festivities will include Holy City Brewing Chocolate Pluffmud Porter and Grape Fruit IPA. Yum!

ENTERTAINMENT:

Blue Plantation Band - Blue Planation is an acoustic string band with a diverse variety of authentic musical styles which include Bluegrass, irish, Folk, Country, Swing and Jass.  The band is made up of four musicians with a wide background of musical experience and a high level of expertise.  The band has been performing together for 12 years in the Charleston area. 

Midnight City - Midnight City one of Charleston's best cover bands.  They feature a five piece powerhouse. Quite simply - they play music you can dance to!

Be sure to visit vendor booths:  Rolling Rack Boutique, InTown, Sparian @ River Bowl Charleston, Kitchen Magic of the Lowcountry, King of Pops, Kona Ice, Charelston Sports & Social Club, Charlestowne Tobacco & Wine, Deluge 3.0, The Charleston Fun Factory, Yeast Home Brewing, Charleston City Paper, Green Taxi, Q104.5 - the Lowcountrys classic rock station and more. 

PARKING:

Parking is $5 in all surrounding lots.  Carpool and everyone can throw in a buck. 

RESTRICTIONS:

All festival-goers must show a valid ID for entry.  No kids or pets are allowed in the park. 

POST-EVENT:

Make plans to head to any of the five area Kickin' Chicken locations after the festival.   As Dan Wilson would say..."you don't have to go home but you can't stay here".
